Please join us for a one-day training in advanced cardiac arrest training for prehospital providers. This course is specifically for EMS Medical Directors, Training Officers, EMS Directors and field providers. The faculty will be experts in prehospital cardiac arrest care in Utah combined with faculty from Seattle Medic One and the University of Washington.

The goal of the Utah Resuscitation Academy (“UtahRA”) is to improve survival from cardiac arrest. This will be achieved through the education of EMS Medical Directors, Training Officers, EMS Directors and field providers in the high performance CPR “Pit Crew” approach to the cardiac arrest patient. In addition, the program will demonstrate how to use each agency’s CARES data to measure and improve their cardiac arrest performance.

  1. Learn how to define and measure the cardiac arrest survival rate in for your agency using your CARES data.
  2. Learn proven techniques to improve cardiac arrest survival utilizing high performance CPR/”pit crew” concepts.
  3. Learn techniques to better integrate 911 dispatch, bystander CPR, and EMS cardiac arrest care to improve cardiac arrest survival inyour community.
  4. Additional resources and strategies will be discussed on how to implement best practices to optimize and fit YOUR organization.

There is no cost for participants. The training is provided with support from the HeartRescue Project and the generous participation of the agencies listed below.
